I have an issue with my new Mobo and CPU:
Asus m3A79-t
Phenom II 940
I have used several temp programmes to monitor the cpu, but mainly use AMD Overdrive.
I routinely get about 34 degrees C, however from time to time the programmes report -275 degrees c.
I have reseated the heatsink (stock) and also had the case on the side a few times whilt i changed some ram over, and these motions seem to right the sensor. I have found it to go back to reporting the wrong temp a few days later however.
Does anyone know where the temperature sensors are located on the motherboard, is this a glitch that I can fix?
