Temporarily turn off ex-directory?

Hi,

My home telephone line is ex-directory and therefore, for example, when I call mobile telephones I get "Withheld". I have just installed something onto my mobile phone (Should correctly identify city codes) and wish to test it has worked - I've only got access to the home phone at the moment (Software does not support other mobiles)... Anything I can put infront of my number so when dialling it does not broadcast as ex-directory and sends the caller information?

I'm on Virgin is this makes any difference.

it would be easier to have a non ex-directory friend call than fanny about with Virgin

Solved the problem now in anycase... Add "1470" before the (full) number.
