temps @ 17-20 idle and 85-88 full load - cooler or vCore problem?

Hi All,

Would I be right in saying that if my CPU cooler was not poperly seated, my idle temps would be a lot higher?

I have just this week changed from a tx 650 to a tx950, and I have seen a massive increase in my load temps. Do you have any idea why? I thought it was because my cooler was improperly seated, but then my idle temps say otherwise. Im getting crazy high load temps even at 4ghz using asrock tuning facility.... any ideas?

So your load temps increased after just replacing a PSU?

your idle temps wouldnt always be higher if it wasnt properly seated as it might be making enough contact to dispearse the minimal heat given out, yet unable to coupe when a lot if thrown at it.

Idle temps look too low unless your PC is in a pretty chilly room.

manual oc, dont use software, will bump vcore right up.

Christ... that is quite high. What are you running? I mean my 4.6ghz overclock hits 80c under prime95 stress test. But doesnt hit over 65-70c after hours of gaming.

My idle temps are 42-46c. Yours seem too low for idle... my idle temps at 1.6ghz power saving are only 24c lol.
