I was just about to jump onto the server and woop some butt with my character, but forgot it's meant to be for new characters.

Well that Server is pretty hardcore now.

Things running about with 200+ health and much through my health at 45 per hit!

My shabby gold sword does 2 damage to them so thats about 40 hits to kill a pixie!!!

Poor old Axleuk trying to take his house down is like gardening in down town Kabul at the moment.

Yea jumped onto the server as a new char as requested (not played in a few months) and the difficulty is just too high.

New characters stand little chance on the server. I've been playing for about 2 hours and have only managed to get iron gear, and the mobs around the spawn point are almost impossible for me to kill. There's little ore near the spawn point, and corruption/hallow next to spawn.

All these new mobs have forced me into SP untill i can get good enough armour to return to MP, back to playing with myself...

Could possibly use a second server for strict normal mode just so people late to the patch can still play.

The bosses are annoying as hell. You get them down then suddenly you both die together and the boss leaves the area before you respawn ><

As above I vote for a second server. We waited 2 days for other players to come online before we started the new content. Its boring sitting around hoping for random joiners

But once the new content is unlocked, as above, its a massacre for new people. We could really benefit from 2 servers.

Days is no time at all. within about 6h of playing I was already mining hellstone. It doesnt take long.

People who have played the game before should have no problem with this.

When is hardmode meant to become hard? I haven't stepped into the jungle (not sure if it's even there anymore), or the dungeon yet. So far it's all been a little easy seeing as I had Molten armor. I defeated the WoF 4 times without dying, went to a corrupt chasm, smashed a couple of dozen Demon Alters, and have a full set of both Cobalt and Mythril armor.

Also haven't got round to trying the new bosses yet (except WoF and the wyvern). Waiting to find a full set of Adamantite before trying them.

Yeh when I say days I mean a couple of hours a night, as that's pretty much all I can find time for these days

PS 41 hours in a week?! That's more than I work! Do you guys not have jobs or something? Or students perhaps... that would make sense

lol. I'm afraid I'm unemployed atm! and you work less then 41h?! Tut. I used to work 55h a week! But then I cba with a social life...
But yes it is a bit excessive!
I still think the server needs a split. Even if it means everyone starting from scratch. We need a dedicated spawn area with npcs in a fort or something, and new players would spawn in that. We need 2 servers, one for normal and one for people with hell armour to go hardmode. I could set up one of the servers but like I say that would only be running when I'm awake

RE Terraria I'll have to get a move on! I hate the feeling of missing out on stuff. Too many good games out at the moment and not enough time!
