Hi People,

Im trying to figure out why my force feeback steering wheel broke, so I have currently go it in bits.

I want to check to see if it is the motor that is used to generate the feedback, which I am sure is just a bog standard DC coil motor. So whats a good way of testing it to see if it is broke?

Cheers

Okay, i managed to test it by hooking up a ohmmeter to the +ve and -ve and then checking its resistance, and it appears that its not shorting out, so I think the motor is fine.

So maybe it is the power brick that powers the controller. What ways could I test that? (without blowing myself up by pluging it in and then measuring the output plug)?
