TG01 worth it @ £150?

i'd stay the hell away from windows mobile for dear life, frankly.

hardware wise it's a relatively nice phone, but WinMo... *shudder*
 
Well worth it for £150. My friend just bought one.

It's bloody huge, specs are excellent for playing full res video, the screen is great for using it as a sat nav.

I've read it crashes a lot, but I played with my friend's one for about 30 mins and it was very smooth.

Ok, so WinMo isnt the slickest smartphone OS, but for £150 its worth it.

I recently bought a HTC Touch 2. Compared with my old Samsung Tocco Ultra's TouchWiz UI, WinMo is a million times better.

If you have not already got a high end phone from 2009, yes.

If you have, no, as it doesnt have anything of practical use over any other phone.
No capacitive screen, not got a great camera, its sluggish, it crashes a lot.

But it does a have a monster CPU and a big screen.

WinMo in my experience is not user friendly at all. I wouldn't have one even if it was free to be honest. Which in a one way is true, as I have a Samsung Omnia 2 and a number of other WinMo devices in my draw.
