This can be based on anything. My pointless mistake I always make is as follows:

When typing up essays/documents, I ALWAYS write "something which" in a sentence, only to be told constantly by the spell checker that I should be putting "something that". No matter how many times I get corrected, I always naturally say "something which" in sentences. It's been the case for so long I genuinely don't think i'll ever grow out of it.

Pointless I know, anyone else never learn? :)

I always type Drawring instead of Drawing. I KNOW it's wrong as I type it, but I always do it. My fingers seem to have a life of their own for that word. Also I always forget to capitalise "I" and have to go over what I've typed to correct it, I blame this on Word automatically changing it for me.

Agreeing to go on half cocked nights out because they are a couple of months away and then all of a sudden it's tonight and I seem to be one of the main people going and I don't really want to go. Then it seems I'm letting the other 2 or 3 people down by cancelling.

I do that too!

In an MSN conversation i'll ask people how they are, they respond and then ask me how I am. In between this i'm usually doing something else which means I lose track of all the conversations sometimes so I usually respond how I am and then ask them again how they are. :p
