but the LED is the same price as the normal one, atm. why not :)

and the price wont let me have 2x500GB F1s.

i need help on the £1250 tower though, dont think i have it right.

raid 0 or raid 1 as raid0 will give you 1TB.

and what speed DDR3, 1600 or 1333?

plus i have read around everywhere

intel chipsets>>>>>>nvidia.

thankyou everyone for your inputs. the remote was something i didnt even think of, and yes i have chosen all parts for silence. the stock intel coolers are very quite, and all the gfx cards i have chosen are silent, and able to play games :)

wolvers, will the gfx chip on that mobo, be able to handle 1080p decoding?

that was the main reason i chose the 780G mobo. If it can, then i will choose your spec, (apart from lowering the RAM, to 1GB of OcUK and getting a bigger HDD :)

and i assumed as its an HTPC, a blueray/HD-DVD drive would have been a minimum requirement.

should i alter the Full systems and the HTPC to accomodate an OS, and all HTPC to have a remote? anything else that needs to be put in for the HTPC?

yes it does.

i assumed for a low spec, 1GB even with vista would be fine, as there would be no gaming.

and if i was to build a HTPC for £400, id want it to display 1080p as thats why id be building it.
