They finished 1-2 at the Swedish GP in '76, and had 16 (IIRC) points finishes that year.

There was more than one.

Please, Zip, for my own sanity can you think twice and use google thoroughly before starting a thread?

You only see the tip of the ice burg though, Im usually googling things :D
The ones that im not pleased with the results will be asked on here :)

There was also one with "double" rear wheels IIRC, can't remember any more than that though.

A while back F1 magazine did a feature with the Williams techs to get them to design the ultimate F1 car, as if many of the current technical restrictions weren't in force. Interestingly their resulting car had "double" rear wheels.

One interesting thing they said about such a layout was that, in the wet, only the front of the double wheels would need to be treaded, the rear ones could still be slicks, as the front wheels would clear the standing water for the rears. Very interesting idea.

You can see a Tyrrell P34 in the flesh at the Donnington Motor museum, here is a pic I got of it.

Patrick Depailler, Kyalami 1976, also has a little clip from monaco

Depailler talking about his car

There is also a longer (2 laps) vid of Depailler around Monaco in 76, with half the nose removed on the car to show the pedal control / heel and toe, etc.. Can't seem to find it at the moment though. It is on the FIA onboard vids DVD though.

Best place to look is http://www.project34.co.uk , quite a few more videos and pictures on there.

A blown up picture of amodel is all I could find but it gives you the idea

There were actually a number of 6 wheel F1 cars, but only the Tyrell ever raced. March built one, similar to the Williams in having 4 wheels at the rear, and Ferrari also tried on with 4 wheels at the rear on a single axel!

I saw the Williams with J Palmer at the Goodwood FOS a couple of times, and bloody quick it was too. There were also other 6 wheel single seaters, but I can't remember from who...
