The 80's summed up in one car?

The Delorean, it was rubbish, people in it hated it, it was a rip off, the sound system sucked, and yet today nostalgia makes it appealing, kinda sums up the 80's

Clearly a prolific car built throughout the 80's, the later models just happened to creep into the 90's, besides it never stated in the OP that the car had to be made in the 80's

I'm an 80's and 90's car fanboy so way too many to list here!

Some highlights would be:

Rally bred - Integrale
Supercar - F40
Hot hatches - soo many, crx is my fave
Jap tech - NSX, although technically 90's
small sport execs - e30 m3, 190 cosworth

Used to love my black one. Brakes were horrendous though. Much more fun than the 206 GTi I owned at the same time, despite being out-gunned/handled/equipped. Progress?
