The Ada Lovelace RTX 4090 Owners Thread

I caved. I'm blaming the alleged cancellation of the 4090TI which I was holding out for.

Quick benchies showing near 100% over my old 3090 (Timespy, and whatnot), very impressed, off to crunch some numbers now..!
Nice I tried one of these and they are nice up there with the Suprim X IMO.

Very nice! 100%? At when res? That seems too good.

As far as I know, the benchies run internally in 4K and downscale the output if you don't have a 4K monitor so the benchmarks are reasonably consistent. I have, so not relevant here. These are the 3090 vs 4090 stitched together:

Nothing tweaked. Currently running matrix multiplications which take a few hours. It's not the most scientific test, as I'm also browsing, watching youtube, etc. Still not bad for fresh out of the box.

It's noticeably quieter than the 3090 which was already pretty good.

Well number 10 or whatever it is now...

@Jay85 @LtMatt @rare Fancy shooting me? Lol.
Almost certain it’s more than 10 brother, not that I can judge mind you. :cry:

Think I’m up to 13 or 14 4090s now. Luckily the user I sold my Suprim X too (the one I nurtured and repasted with Liquid Metal and re-padded) agreed to let me have it back in a swap deal for a new 4090 I had on hand, so I ended up getting it back and now I can rest easy as it’s better than all the others I’ve tried.

I say rest, currently looking at my 11th or 12th 7900 XTX. :cry:

How is it? Any coil whine? Keep us updated! :cool:

Every time I think I'm going to take the lead lol. It was made in March 2023, it's got the new connector. I'm on tech support with Nvidia now. I'll test games and overclock out shortly. Not the same when I know it could be amazing but I still won't keep it! Still I can see how I find the 35db compared to the 28-32db of the Asus and MSI.

Looking forward to your results, fingers crossed it’s a keeper!
