Just to confirm guys CPW won't be doing the 4S sim free on launch, maybe down the line however it's just for contracts on orange, tmobile vodafone and o2 upgrades. I'm sure Best buy will be the same as they are both owned by BBE.


We received some in store today however I wasn't working to snag a few pics. Think all CPW stores are due to receive some sorta stock and selected stores are opening at 8AM for the launch.

Yep - although the delivery date has always said tomorrow - they were probably told to hold them.

Only worrying thing is that Walsh Western (of Dell fame) is showing as the delivery company.........

Theres no-where for the delivery companies name? Nothing on mine anyway?

But its listed as being delivered tomorrow at 6pm! Great courier, they have time machines!

I'm not even that fussed about getting one tomorrow.

I mean, if I turn up at the Apple Store tomorrow and there's a queue larger than about 40 people, I'll just turn around and go to work.

What I don't want to do is wait weeks for one

Thats the chance you take by waiting, they might sell out in a few weeks (they already ran out of stock online) and you might not be able to get one for a while. I imagine the queues will be pretty long for places like meadowhall and london stores

Just wondering.. I'm coming from a iPhone 3G, and I'm guessing restoring from a 3G backup will be ok? Is it also possible just to restore everything apart from the apps? I've got too many I don't need atm
