*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

I just don't see signs (actions, not messaging) from AMD that they really care about grabbing marketshare. So I don't think prices will be low. Imo they will do the same as always.

Why?
We already have leaked benchmarks. If people wanted that level of performance for £700 with AMD software stack they could have it for more than a year already with 20GB vram rather than 16GB, it's called the 7900XT.

Seen a powercolour for £50 less than that so yeah would need to be less than £650.

It hasn't stopped people buying 5080 or the 5070ti, when you could have bought 4080 super for cheaper

I wasn't looking for a card when I could have bought the 7900xt , it's actually looking more like xtx performance with much better RT and hardware upscaling

Saying all that I won't pay over £600 for it , so just let things settle and it'll drop :)

too early for the proper rage meltdown - but just you wait. if these aren't being given away for free or close to it, there will be tears.

Correct, you have not seen half of the obligatory team green crowd who cant resist in dropping in a troll or two digs as soon as AMD drop a b.

So it looks like if AMD price the 9070XT above $600 then thats ruling out at least 90% of potential customers which is why AMD will stay at 10% market share or even lose market share.
