So a few weeks ago I got back from the states after a 2 week trip with some friends, we did loads of stuff - had 2 jeeps, speedboat on lake powell, hired a mustang roush, shot machine guns - and of course I took my large format camera with me. I had a few locations I wanted to give a good go, but had to accommodate the wishes of others! I shot some B&W but they're still being processed so might have some more shortly..

My fave place was at 'Toroweap' or 'Tuweep' overlook, it's a 3 hour jeep trail that takes you right into the north rim of the grand canyon, but you get by far the best view from anywhere overlooking the grand canyon - it's an awe inspiring place.

All shot on Linhof technikardan 4x5S (Schneider/Rodenstock/Nikkor lenses) all film Velvia 50 4x5.

You could have got a bit closer to the edge :p

Last shot for me, lovely composition. View in the first two definitely looks worth the drive!

Excellent stuff, as to be expected with your photos :) Cant go wrong really with the Grand Canyon as a backdrop though. gorgeous scenery.
