The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

well manga ent has uk rights to Shingeki no Kyojin(attack on titans) for home video, while anime limited has the rights to the soundtrack only. it suppose to be released on dvd/Blu-ray at some point near the end of this year, while the soundtrack is out now on amazon, iTunes.

Reading ANN apparently MVM are looking to do more blu-ray releases here as their new supplier is cheaper :D

I also discovered that Girls Und Panzer is out on blu as well as DVD, but Amazon haven't got the listing up yet! (cancelled my DVD order).

And I finally got round to watching Wolf Children which was very good I think, I'm looking forward to getting the manga through in a few weeks :)

well just finish watching the first season of "kingdom" very good indeed and have move on to watching Suisei no Gargantia.

current play list

Suisei no Gargantia
Tenchi Muyo! War On Geminar
Asura Cryin
Busou Shinki
kingdom S2

that playlist should keep me going for a week or so.

@Werewolf check to made sure it a complete collection on Girls Un panzer as in the US they did two released of it, one was the tv series, the other was the ova.

It looks like it's the series only (300 minutes), I suspect the OVA's will be later.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to watch next, probably Arakawa season 2 given that's been on the side for a while :)

Gargantia was a bit hit and miss on some episodes, worth a watch though if you enjoy SciFi, but be prepared to want to punch the main dude in the face a few times.

Aye, I'm sort of looking forward to Gup as it looks fun from the clips I've seen, not to mention I spent a fair bit of time playing WoT late last year :)

Just a note to say that the Japan Foundation Touring Film festival comes to the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham from this coming Friday. There's a different film a night for a week but the only anime is Colorful which is showing on Sunday, (the rest are all live action).

Personally I'm going to see ~4 of the films (although not Colorful as I've already seen it).

look like we getting a second season of Durarara!!, as it been announced that the staff and cast of Durarara!! will be working on a sequel it will be base 1 year after the event of the first series.

So, finally my new shirt has arrived, only took like 12 days from the moment it arrived in the UK to be delivered to me which is outrageous for a EMS package on top of the £22 they stole from me.

Meet Shimakaze-chan (島風), she is a destroyer in the Imperial Japanese Navy. At the time she was the fastest destroyer in the world where she could move as fast 40 kn. She was armed from 5" guns to the deadly Type 93 (Long Lance) torpedo that the allies feared.

She was the only one of her kind because building the experimental steam turbine was impossible during the war.

Sadly for her, she wasn't fast enough to dodge 350 kn speed bombers.

She is reborn today serving as an Guided Missile Destroyer named the JDS Shimakaze.

And lastly, she can be found in the card browser game... Kancolle. :D

I'm just reading that and thinking, "well they've got guns who are girls, tank girls, girls who are or basically become aircraft, now ships, do they have an anime/game where the girls are trains?" :)

It probably gave them the idea for their stuff ;)

That's a nice shirt, although not one I'd wear (or buy at that price  especially with the customs hit   ).

I'm finally getting my anime DVD's nearly sorted, but need more Kassette boxes from Ikea (they're good for normal height cases, although I have put a sheet of bubble wrap in the front/back), it's only taken me about a month to sort my collection, get the drawers roughly organised and the disks into boxes...

I try not to think about the price, since it's depressing, more so when I think the shipping plus customs costs equal or more then the shirt itself.

I don't know how ParcelForce can justify their prices and in this example, it was £11+ something. How can they work that out when the shipping price was pretty much the same for it to travel to the UK?

Something is wrong there.

Finally got my hands on this.

This was shipped to me on the 4th and it finally arrived Thursday, wasn't able to pick it up on Friday because our Sorting Office closed early but today, I have it. :p

Due to the nature of the image, you could class it as NSFW and if the mods wish, I can "edit" the picture to add smiley faces or shining white beams of jesus light that the Japanese love to add to these sort of things.

Meet Yaya-chan from the Anime series, Unbreakable Machine Doll (機巧少女は傷つかない Mashin-Dōru wa Kizutsukanai). Yaya is a puppet, but a living machine doll powered by magical circuits made of both mechanical and organic parts. She is designed for hand to hand combat. :p
