The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Ok I have now watched Appleseed Alpha (dubbed) and it's not actually that bad, I still prefer the original two but it's a damn sight better than Appleseed XIII.

The CG is pretty good (Briarios and Two Horns facial 'movements' especially) although I'm still not keen on Duenan's new look but at least they used the same voice actors so the dub isn't as bad as it could be.

Plot, well not exactly much of one but it kind of fits before Appleseed (the first CG movie) if you skip the first 20mins of so of it where Duenan is found and ignore the Duenan not knowing about Hecate suit in it.

Coming from someone who rates Appleseed/ex machina highly I'll say that if you like Appleseed it's worth a watch, even in English.... it's not going to set the world on fire but it will keep you entertained for an hour and a half :)

Just recently rewatched Ao No exorcist and some Kore wa zombie Desu ka. Trying to fill the void while log horizon comes back, any suggestions? :)
not naruto - gave up on that, too much filler, I may pick it up again in the future though
seen bleach :)
also love kattekyou hitman reborn, :D

Still making my way through Knights of Sidonia, as I've not had much time recently for understandable reasons :D
Interesting series, I can see where the Evangelion comparisons came from, I do find the CGI art a little jarring at times though, it doesn't seem quite as fluidly animated as standard animation at times.

Not been watching a lot of anime recently due to other things (playing wargames, cleaning the garage out, running around like a headless chicken), but managed to watch most of Kamisama Dolls which seems to be pretty good so far.

Can anyone recommend a comic book reader/cbr app for the android platform that can preferably read them from a wireless share?
I've got a Kingston Mobilelite wireless USB/SD card reader which is working out quite well, but comicrack doesn't seem to be able to read cbr files from it (I had a couple of problems with films etc, but found turning on hardware decoding for lan files solved that in mx player).

Still haven't seen that, although it is sitting downstairs in my rather large to watch pile.
Finished Knights of Sidonia earlier. Not sure what to think of the series, other than the story definitely doesn't seem to have run it's course. That said with S2 greenlit already I guess someone else realised that too.

Sorry Werewolf, don't have any names for you for reader app, although Kamisama Dolls is pretty decent, ended up rooting for the 'bad guy' a lot by the end. Again a series that feels like it should have a S2 coming some point.

In an unrelated and geeky note, although it was extremely quiet in the registry office for my wedding last weekend (12th July) so you couldn't hear it so well, we chose completely piano performance versions of tracks to be palatable and interesting to a wider audience, the playlist included FF7 Main Theme, To Zanarkand, Aeris' Theme, and To The Moon's For River, and Zelda's Lullaby.
Worked really well :D

Try ebookdroid it should work, think it covers network locations too....
Comics reader is another option although I haven't used it personally.

If they don't do network shares just use esfile explorer (or prog of choice) to open the file in the 'default' app. I've done this loads with videos :)

Had a bit of blast from the past this weekend .... ambled through Love Hina :)

One of the very first series I got on DVD:)
I think I watched it again last year (or the year before?), and still enjoyed it, even if the opening tune now sounds quite bad to me:p

Cheers I'll give them a go, I was trying comicrack but that didn't seem to want to work, I'll also give perfect viewer a go as that's been recommended elswhere :)

It was pretty cool, shame it wasn't louder he he. Got a few recognitions on the music and everyone liked it who didn't know what it was!!

Thanks again :)

If we end up having a kid it might end up looking like one of the half Asian half English kids you see in anime as I had blonde hair when I was young and have blue/grey eyes lol

Didn't have many people there at all :) Was very small and private :)
The bride walked down the aisle to Zelda's Lullaby

Can't remember if it was this version or not but you get the idea :D
