Ordered this exact spec today. Hate that I have (not an Apple fan) but I need Logic Pro and I can't settle for anything but the best :p

Need some sort of case now.

Just to check before buying a new MBP, all HE laptops come with 3 year warranty? I don't need to spend the extra £60 for this:

EMEA CC-HE contract uplift MacBook Pro [+ £60.00]

Is that just for extended phone support?

I'm looking into buying a new Macbook Pro, but have a question about the HE discount.

My girlfriend is currently studying for a Masters degree, but I want to buy this Macbook for my business. Would we be able to purchase it through the HE store, but also reclaim the VAT and write it off against tax on the balance sheet?

Anyone shed any light? Cheers.

If you are investigated by HMRC then they could raise the questions about personal/business use as you purchased it with HE discount. My account advised me to just buy it outright and avoid any potential issues.

At the end of the day you could buy it with the HE discount and then expense it and put it on your balance sheet as long as you're aware you could potentially face some awkward questions.

Has anyone ever ordered over the phone via the education discount?

If so what sort of things did they ask you for?
