The Apple HE store - Full prices and details in here. *prices correct as of 15/06/10*

Ordered my MPB using the HE link posted here. Got the pricing but the warranty isn't showing in the support area. Any ideas how long it takes to show on the apple site?
 
Depends. Should be pretty soon (i.e. within a week). Mine didn't actually ever activate, so had to phone them a year later and sort it out which took about 4 weeks involving verifying documentation etc.

I got mine in January and its showing up online now. I got a certificate through the post about 3 weeks after my order was delivered, prior to the online coverage showing up.

They don't however if they do check they say in their T&Cs that they will charge you at the full price. Find a student to purchase on your behalf, or try a refurb machine etc.

Anyone know if it's possible to shop online with open university discount?

Some of links don't seem to work anymore and it seems to say you need to go through your university's network to enter on apples website?

How do I do this as an OU student as I'm never on campus? , or is it a case of phoning or high street.

Ordered my 15" macbook pro Monday night, expected delivery today...cant wait :-)
just gotta find a mouse and a case now...

Forgot to say, did it through quidco and HE @ home, seem to work :-)

I used this link for the OU (see the uni logo in the top left area of the screen). Remember to use Quidco as well.

Even though i am a student with the OU, no one from Apple rang/emailed to check my status.
 
Just out of curiosity, has the method of accessing it changed or something? Not looking to buy but was just comparing prices and found the above link no longer works for me. Not tried any other universities besides OU though.
