Cool thanks. The turret changes must be nice? I always have a big issue with changing sensitivities between when I'm gunning and when I need to get out and rep.
 
I never had the issue, if I was Driver I would have 800dpi set, get out to rep and I'd knock my dpi down to 400 same as when I was the gunner. Handy having the quick swithc dpi settings on the top of my mouse.

I'll be on tonight to see what it is like, will be playing with a Dell office mouse, so won't be expecting any decent rounds.

Screen is still fudged, BenQ are not sure if it is the GPU or their screen, EVGA seem to think it could be the GPU artifacting.

Waiting for responses back from both.

My mouse only has a single button for it's 5 DPI presents. It also has 5 modes so there are 25 different combinations. Needless to say it was really difficult to maintain a low sensitivity for gunning and either up the sensitivity and rep or try and rep with a low sensitivity.

If your GPU is indeed dead I wonder if they'll replace it with a 980 given 780 is EOL?

The turret feels much more like CTE did, takes a little getting used to, but started to get in the swing of harvesting the potatoes fairly quickly! :D

Probably more likely a 970 I think. EVGA see the 780<970 and the 780Ti<980.

Either way I either need a new screen or a new GPU, the GPU will be warranrty replaced, doubtfull with the screen. Looks like I'll have to buy one.
 
That sucks Josh :( hope you get to the bottom of it.

Last night was all over the place for me. Felt like I was dying in one hit constantly but all my bullets were nerf darts or something. Shotguns one shot killing at range were also infuriating.

Night map is pretty cool though! Need to add it to the rotation :)
 
Well EVGA are going to RMA the card. Means I will be GPU-less for a while unless they do an express RMA thingy.

BenQ also want to RMA the screen but the lack of invoice is going to end up a non starter I think.
 
Second hand from Wndsr. He can't find the invoice or the warranty details for it.

Will wait to hear back from them buy a new screen is looking like the only option.
 
Wouldn't he have bundled them in with the monitor when he sent them to you? Failing that if he can grab a screenshot of the order from the site he bought it from should be ok.

Going to email him, but from memory this was a warranty replacement for the one he punched, doubt they would have over a years warranty on a previous rma item.

If not then I will send off my GPU, when that gets repaired/replaced I will test it in the system, if it goes away then I will know it was the GPU if it doesn't I will know that it's the screen and will hava a 24" paperweight on my desk lol
 
Yeah a 270X last night and it didn't appear, the issue is that is doesn't appear all the time, it comes and goes.

If I knew what made it come and go I'd be able to figure out 100% what was causing it.

Oh and BF4 hur dur.
 
It sucks when your machine is broken. Should have seen my raging when I was trying to fix my machine after reverting from win10 to 8.1. :(
 
Hur dur indeed. Well that sucks the big one. EVGA are good though, so you can expect a quick turn around if it is indeed your GPU. Any chance you could swap with someone for a few days to make sure it's the GPU? You could always buy a 970, use it and then DSR.
 
Test it out with a sesh tonight on the 270X... you must experience the new fluctuations in BF4... It is nice to not be blinded every 3 seconds by a flashbang on the other side of the map... but the rubber bullets need sorting!
