good job dice added the animation into the game however that will tell you when you're getting packetloss so you know its your internet connection and not the game..

Still amused by how many people all dropped out at the same time at the end of rogue! :D


Locker is a map that annoys me so much, the way the majority of the team just stay inside/around c and don't watch outside or try to go for the last flag or two via outside way is damn annoying, couldn't believe we won that match earlier, should have lost, nearly did since they got A, B, C and E....


Wish more people would spot when in I am in jets as well!!! :p Can't see anything without it :(

Was insta headshotting people 300m away with a pistol for something like 30-0 at the start of a map and spraying into the horizon and somehow headshotting 5+ people at 100-200m range with half a magazine from an assault rifle at which point admin kicked heh. Sadly last couple of days seen a big increase in cheaters :| including one who was moaning about that guy but 99% sure was also cheating.

This is the one that gets me the most and is a sure fire indicator of a hack:

CS-LR4 32 4.00 65% 100% 86%

basically every kill he has with that weapon is a headshot. I don't care how steady or careful you are, that is a statistical impossibility. 32 kills, 32 headshots.:mad:
 
Couldn't agree more...

BF3 = perfectly balanced between realism and arcade, natural difficulty created by the weapons and physics which separates the good players from the bad. BF4 = Full on arcade pew pew game for children. Battlefield 3 is next gen compared to BF4. The older players know exactly what's up. BF4 is riding on the success of BF3 but the two games are worlds apart and nothing alike. People always assume that the "new" game is more advanced but in this case everyone is downgrading to basically a mid 2000's gaming style. I'll stick with the "superior" version in BF3 and pray that DICE/EA dump this arcade trash and do it right for BF5. Pushing the limits of realism is more possible then ever and they have decided to go after the whole kindergarden class instead. In summery BF4 is a childs toy

Since all the console folks on reddit are now crashing every 10-20 minutes, can't connect to servers half of the time and apparently the kill cam shows random players and not actually the one that killed you. I'd be very careful what you wish for with DICE patching.

BF 3 would have been amazing for me if they just:

- removed that blue dull filter
- suppression system
- and brought some of the bf 4 vehicle system things in i.e. reduced ammo, none of the disabled crap where your vehicle would start to slowly die once you hit <50% unless you repaired it to 100 in bf 3
- spotting limit limitation
- had the bf 4 UI
- more maps where you had some cover from aircraft


BTW Joe or westie, you guys using a user config for bf 3 as well??? If yes, post all the stuff you got so I can copy :p


Anyone fancy some BF 3 bazaar, AM or/and CQ today??
 
Hey guys, came back from holiday and my BF4 seems to be crashing. Symptoms:

  • Join a game, it loads playing the introduction music, however as soon as you would expect to see spawn points etc I get either CTD or black screen with underscore flashing
  • I get this on either Campaign, Multiplyer or Test

Stuff I've tried:

  • Removed all my settings in documents folder
  • Complete redownload and reinstall of BF4
  • Reinstalled Punkbuster, checked that I have latest definitions
  • Disabled afterburner
  • Reinstalled Direct X

Would appreciate any advice. Game has been almost bug free for me but I guess that was only a matter of time.
