Just testing out the new weapons with joe and lol at the PDW and anti mine, so OP

anti mine:

- super quick reload
- can set two up
- dont even need to spot aircraft

Way to go DICE.....

Most helis/jets will be fine if they don't fly low but on maps like flood zone, good luck flying!

That PDW, super accurate hip fire!

I did read the notes, I don't see how it makes it much better unless they have also reduced the associated muzzle rise.

Only thing that heavy barrel makes worse is the vertical recoil, everything else is better, especially if you burst fire only 1-3 bullets.

Just means you can now engage targets at longer range a lot more accurately.

Is the Magnum like BF3 now Nex?

Need to properly test it out but imo still not quite as beastly as it was in bf 3

In the test range if feels like it has a micro delay before firing, better than before as that way hyper realistic waiting for the hammer action.

Still not instant like BF3, feels good on the move, will be testing it out tonight.

yeah slight delay equal miss you dead. better with more accurate pistol tbh.

That's going to change the balance of power on some maps for CQ where you just get helis rapidly capping points.

Lucky engineers can't carry M2s at the same time otherwise the maps would quickly become inf only.
 
So the new plan with Flood Zone is

1) Rush central tower with helis
2) Deploy mines overlooking the enemy spawn
3)???????
4) profit

Just jumped on with joe for a quick game and the magnum is godly now!

Ran out of ammo with scar so had to switch to magnum and downed like 3 guys lol, joe even commenting on how much better it is too :D

Still a wee bit of a delay but nowhere as bad.

Not suprised about the SR-2, that looks OP as does the new SnipDMR.... :|

The sniper rifle has MASSIVE bullet deviation/spread or whatever you call it :p

Even when sights were on joe, the bullets after the first shot going everywhere except where aiming :p

1.MBT LAW needs to be literally aimed at the tank now to hit him,and it doesnt bypass APS anymore. 2.RPG's velocity was nerfed and drop was increased. 3.Slams have much shorter range now tank has to drive like only 1 meter past that to trigger them. 4.Tanks autoheal rate and repair rate of blowtorch is increased,tank now heals 2% of its health every 1 second,the rep tool rate also seems higher then before. 5.Staff shell reload glitch is fixed,with that staff shell's dmg is nerfed,now iz does only 19-20 dmg to a tank.

Other things we noticed.1.Tanks now have a heavier feel into them,they feel more stable.2.The hit indication now correctly shows where your being shot at,and its not like quiet as before.Mini does 59-60 dmg max up on 1 meter radius,rgo does 80 if you toss it like in his face,its splash is bad.3.MRAP and other Humvee like vehicles seem better now.

Should be great fun on Rogue & Golmud tonight.

Hmm... That sniper rifle looks stupidly over powered.

That engineer gadget/ air mine will probably be an issue. Depends on how close to it you need to be for it to trigger.

As for the grenade launcher, they should make it so it does some ok damage to vehicles but extremely small blast radius against infantry.
