Ahh, only had a brief play on that server. Ps, any idea on the spiking I'm seeing mate. Getting very frustrating due to this and the stuttering associated with it.

Ahh, only had a brief play on that server. Ps, any idea on the spiking I'm seeing mate. Getting very frustrating due to this and the stuttering associated with it.
Forgotten how bad this game is, had a few weeks away from it and today first time I've played since recent update... suppression problems seem to be 5x worse, is it me or does player movement have more bob and sway compared to before the update? and just generally not a fun experience at all.

Well try my settings for a bit. Low / off everything except Ultra Mesh and Ultra filtering. Might as well give it a shot mate.
If that doesn't work I know updating realtek drivers worked for some people earlier in the game. Then try using Display Driver Uninstaller and installing the latest drivers while running your CPU @ stock with your RAM at 1600 and go from there.
Rroff nothing has changed unless the last time you played BF4 it was on CTE.

Haven't played CTE at all.
Maybe taking a break from the game has given me perspective on just how bad some of it really is even compared to what I thought
Was truly not fun though - at one point I was prone about 4-5m from a corner (B-A just up from the explodable tanks on lockers beside the stuff on the floor) and someone (at the B flag shooting into the boiler room doorway) around that corner and about 20m back firing an LMG was causing me suppression effects :S

). Doesn't look too bad and at the 150fps+, the screen tearing I'd usually get at 60Hz is just negligible.

I'm running a totally stock system, even my ram is at a lowly 1333mhz, latest mobo bios, chipset, audio, gpu drivers. Turned every graphics option to lowest, capped fps, tried adaptive vsync, unparked cpu cores but still spikes like that. Has happened since release, first on an Ivybridge i7 3770k sli 670 setup, cards carried over to the spec in sig, (3rd haswell i7 in it). No joy.

Been away from the forums for a while but starting to really like the new maps especially pearl market using the mpx or cz-805 hate the bulldog for some reason but seen a video from westie about using it in single fire so might put 2x magnification on it and use it as a cqc and the switch to 2x for longer ranges in single fire see how that pans out

the fps for me seems to be very fussy. used to seeing 120+ pretty much all the time but seems to be getting more and more spikes where it'll drop to 60-90 for short instances or extended periods of time.... not sure whether it's just something to do with the new maps or what. used to be butter smooth.
3770k and sli 680. so possibly same issues as you setter?

thought it could be cpu/gpu throttling due to the heat/warm weather, but I've redone the TIM on my CPU and thats maxing at 73 on IBT and gpus both stay below 70 with the fan profile... so I just dunno xD

Whats the cheapest way to get the new maps and add-ons, ive obivously got the game and china rising but wouldnt mind playing the other ones....cheers
Buy the Premium package for a key site, cheaper than Origin and must be cheaper than buying each DLC seperatley.
Ultra texture filtering? Really? I'm assuming you also have texture quality set to ultra?
