extra fps, frees up VRAM on more limited cards (textures on ultra have me pretty much at >19xxMB of VRAM usage, very high is around 1800... high about 1600 I think)

but yeah... also hax :p

Why would you put textures on low? I know lighting (because of glare and stuff) but why texturess?

Extra frames - I know Raider plays competitively so I'm interested in why he has the textures set to ultra, what benefits it provides.

It's so they can see further which makes you pr0.....sad really

I dont really think thats fair. If I could hold 144fps constant @ 2560x1440 with everything on Ultra I would have a different setup. I would prefer smooth steady fps any day over eye candy - each to their own though.

I just find there to be input lag or something with higher settings (even with mantle), the game just doesn't feel as responsive/snappy with textures and other things on high/ultra, AA settings are the biggest culprit.

Think it's just frames. It's very noticeable on 120hz plus setups.

Well try my settings for a bit. Low / off everything except Ultra Mesh and Ultra filtering. Might as well give it a shot mate.

If that doesn't work I know updating realtek drivers worked for some people earlier in the game. Then try using Display Driver Uninstaller and installing the latest drivers while running your CPU @ stock with your RAM at 1600 and go from there.
Updated realtek audio drivers today and closed samsung magician, had a round earlier and things were much better. Had adaptive vsync on last night but it didnt help so ill likely turn it off. Settings im running are, 1920x1200, ultra, x2 msaa, 16x af, SSAO on, motion blur off. Read somewhere that sammy magician can cause some issues with games when running.

Made a further few tweaks and this monitor is totally amazing with gsync. The experience is leaps and bounds above what my iiyama 120hz was - which is a very good gaming monitor.

I have no idea if this is the real thing or just a game beforehand but it doesn't look good :(
