thought it could be cpu/gpu throttling due to the heat/warm weather, but I've redone the TIM on my CPU and thats maxing at 73 on IBT and gpus both stay below 70 with the fan profile... so I just dunno xD

I've been getting bad frames after the new build :[ I hope I've not damaged my stuff due to all this heat.

Oh and btw we couldn't get half our players in due to ESL Wire issues. Most of the 8v8 teams couldn't get their players in so, so far 3 of the actual 8v8 teams have been disqualified and only 2 8v8 teams played. The rest are 5v5 team combo's GG ESL
 
Swift is nice but too pricey. I'm gonna hold out and see what other 2560x1440 g sync monitors appear. Either that or an ultra widescreen monitor.

Hopefully there will be a lot more ultrawide choice later in the year, need more people/companies i.e. youtube..... to take notice of the 21.9 aspect ratio, for any film buff, 21.9 aspect ratio is a "must" imho (great for games too)

Shame AMD haven't got their freesync thing sorted out yet, badly want it, hate vsync in games and I despise screen tearing....

Exactly, you need "dual" GPU's for acceptable FPS :p

I haven't seen a 4k monitor yet but personally I think it is a bit overkill for monitors (at least 24" ones), for 40"+ TVs though, SUPERB!
 
Even if I added a second 780, they wouldn't be great for 4k. Gpu grunt would likely ne fine but 3gb of ram would mean lowering settings a fair bit. Maybe full fat Maxwell cards will cope better but we wont see them till next year.

I've only ever seen it on larger TVs. With good source material it looks sweet, I can only imagine that it looks even better when compressed to 28". I can't wait until the OLED ones start to appear on the market.

On some of the new maps there's like 101 busses and trucks parked up thst don't explode.. I remember bfv where bybthe end of a map the entire battlefield could just be a cratered wasteland or how in bf3 cq everything blew up and was destructible.. now rpg men hide away and I cant get to kill them as easily:(
