My first few rounds weren't great! Should have seen my aim and general gameplay for them, looked like I was using a console controller :p :o

Haven't been lucky enough to see one yet :(

We should hopefully see a fair amount around (for an affordable price) in 2-3 years, probably take a fair bit longer for OLED monitors.....
 
Bfbc2 had much better destruction, by the end of a round most buildings were levelled. None of the games yet can match it. Much better game to imo.

Rush and the maps made that game, I would happily pay £10 for BC 2 maps to be in bf 4, but noooooooo, instead we get the **** bf 3 maps again and they made them even worse by adding the gunship to them *clap clap*

Given how quickly the 4K monitors are falling in price now, £440 for one last weekend, we will hopefully see them at reasonable prices next year, around £300. Hopefully some new and improved panels will be released next year with extra features like adaptive frame rates.

OLEDs yeah they may be a while coming if they make it into the mainstream consumer market at all.

Those maps were build around RUSH so play really well with that game mode. Half of the problem with BF4, and BF3, maps is that they have to work with many different game modes, and Dice keep adding more with each expansion.

New 780 installed and it hasn't even got above 67'C when the old 670 would routinely hit 80'C so that's a great improvement. Hitting over 100FPS at times too without changing any settings.
 
Really couldn't recommend the current crop of 4K monitors for BF4 - the pixel transition rate in certain scenarios makes IPS panels look quick (run around the firing range map and look at the clouds) and the overdrive makes objects look like they have fairly significant sized shadows trailing them :| (run into the building in the middle of the map and look at the papers on the floor, columns and the walls on the side of the stairs as you move around).
 
Setter btw never use v-sync EVER!! Even adaptive!!!

I have been looking into it and now have my FPS uncapped so that is reduces screen tearing. Essentially you need double your monitor fps+ for the best reduction of tearing especially horizontal tearing or something (I dunno). Low FTW as I've always said xD

A 47MB clip takes me 12 mins to upload, and I've had to lower it to 30fps at 720.

Oh well, it took an hour before at full quality.

Edit: I've uploaded it, and it looks like ****. I don't know why, it was a 720p clip but seems to have got a lot worse. Do youtube automatically compress it or something?

Another edit, its because my slow internet can't stream it back at the proper res haha. How does it look at a decent res?

think I used to get this in BFBC2 with my 8800gts :\ can't remember whether it was an issue with the card or drivers or what though sorry :( I remember having to uninstal realtek audio drivers though as they conflicted with punkbuster and caused b-sods..... get interaction there :p

HazardO... I hit 1/3 according to Battlelog...well just over that (36%).

The No1 srawer - EyelessCX - has over 50% accuracy, playing on an old CRT :D
