Played some CTE.... omg that is so much better! i cannot wait for them to patch it into the real game!

Yep, after playing CTE I cant be annoyed with the mess that is standard bf4. The difference is unbelievable.
Movement in CTE is identical to bf3, non of this jerky feel you get in the standard game.

You guys missed out, until they nerfed running speed back to BF3 levels cte was probably the best infantry game I have ever experienced.....but so many people couldn't deal with the speed cos frankly it was a bit silly, but sooo good. It was patched very quickly 
When I reinstalled CTE the other day, I couldn't get over how much faster it seems to run. Like bf3 I had to drop mouse send and dpi down a bit as it was too quick compared to bf4. Btw Joe, I set the fov to 90, shows 90 and 106 on the menu. Is this right?

Er no Mate, should show 74 (90) although I always do love playing at 110 FOV to. It's just not good for comp

I dont expect the main changes to come to bf4 with flatline being the main focus.
What I do expect or hope is that the cte is being used as a development and testing ground for BF5 that I hope DICE LA take the lead with.
I am putting my money on them not releasing these improvements for the standard game (at least not all of the good stuff...), instead they will be implemented in bf 5 and will use those fixes/improvements for advertising the game just like they did with regards to bf 3 and 4:
- the stupid dull lifeless filter they had in bf 3, were going to remove it near the end or give you the option to do it but decided no because "they liked the artistic direction" they had taken
- the suppression
- the UI/hud
- VOIP
etc.
After all they can't make bf 4 more or less perfect as then they will have set the bar even higher for bf 5 as well as struggling to come up with new things to make it an improvement and worth buying over bf 4.

You are wrong Majnu, I have spoken with t1gge and some other developers and it will be coming. XTS are invited to test out the new Oblit Comp mode changes with DICE employees on Monday in one of DICE's private servers but I am working late

So does that mean that bf4 will be supported alongside hardline when it's released?
I say that because Bf3 got no love after bf4 was released even though there was another patch in the pipeline but didn't get released. Hackers also seem to be more prevalent in bf3 now too.
However it is good news that the base game will continue to get patches based on cte. The delayed release of hardline has probably helped things too.
