Did anyone watch the el classico?

What a fantastic game of football. each and every pass to a player, high balls taken with complete control on the chest and the pace, it was a joy to behold.

a lot of you guys may protest but regardless of the hype that is spewed from sky and setanta the spanish league is the best league in europe imo.

Yeah the Spanish League is brilliant, most teams try and play good football and aren't afraid to take the bigger teams like Real and Barca on at the passing game which is more than can be said for practically every EPL team bar a few.

Saw a bit of the game tonight, forgot it was on actually. The El Clasico always turns out to be a better game than any of the big rivalries over here, the big 4 in the Prem always seem far too interested in not losing rather than taking the game to the opposition when player eachother.

I'd rather watch some mid table Spanish teams play rather than Bolton v Portsmouth for example, the football they play is far better.

I'd disagree when you say it's the best league, I like pace, determination and fighting, which is the Premiership, not Spain. Spain is probably my 3rd favourite league to watch.

Yeah, Spanish football is awesome to watch, even lower down in the league.

I think English teams are better, in general, though, even if they aren't as good to watch.

i agree la liga is great to watch and technically they're just superior in general to players in the epl.

some of those mid to lower table teams play incredible at times but have no defence lol.

I take it you forgot to mention the cheating and play acting, not to mention the shoddy, home team based bias of the referee then?

Sneijders deliberate trip after playing the ball to Raul for the first goal. Then the blatant dive by Ramos to get Toure booked and win the free kick which ultimately led to the 2nd goal are two prime examples.

The Spanish league is indeed good to watch, the the cheating there is worse than the Premiership by a long margin.
