Well, today I backed up my webspace and had a flick through the photos that came down. Its very easy to forget what you have taken when you have no content management system set up!

I decided to poke through them all and pick out the ones that really stood out to me as being shots I personally like and think are my very best and thought I should share them with you!

In no particular order:

Theres something not quite right about the masks, the blur on the left one doesn't seem natural and the other has a few jagged edges (may just be the compression?), the other however are very vibrant and much to my tastes.

Thanks for sharing.

I assure you the left hand blur is the natural bokeh of a 70-200L :) The jagged edges are because a) the masks were jagged on the edges anyway and b) because the people wearing the masks are also wearing black hoodies (that you cant see because they are black :p)

Still, glad you liked the others :)

I think it was actually taken with a pretty terrible ancient 35-105mm lens with some extension tubes that I pinched from cyKey :)

Boatloads of chromatic abberations at the wide end but always had this really rich bokeh and colour saturation :)

I picked it up for about £40 second hand IIRC, and it has given me some other reasonable shots like this:
