I could listen to muse riffs all day and not get tired. Best riffs I've ever heard and still not tired of them.
 
My favourite three guitar riffs would be:

AC/DC - Back In Black
Aerosmith - Walk This Way
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine

My top 3 bass riffs would be:

Guns N Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Aerosmith - Love In An Elevator
SRV (Hendrix Cover) - Voodoo Child

Extreme are superb. Pornograffitti makes for great listening.

As a result, Li'l Jack Horny would feature in my top 3.

Theres too many good riff's out there to pick from, someone should make a thread like this for Drums too. :cool:
 
Iron Monkey - Supagorganizer. Grap a keg of beer and just ****ing ROCK!

The Haunted - Bury Your Dead and Hollow Ground. Thrash isn't dead.

Raging Speedhorn - Thumper. Simplistic but brutal...Also worth watching for my ex at 2:31... ;)

Primus - Shake Hands With Beef. One of the best bass riffs of all time.

Mínus - Angel in Disguise, The Long Face, Flophouse Nightmares and Romantic Exorcism. "HI! We are MEENOOSH! And we are a rock and roll band from Iceland!"

Your Enemies' Friends - Back Of A Taxi. Okay it's a keyboard...but still good. ;)

Pant Area - Five Minutes Alone. Not a huge Pant Area fan...but this one always makes me boogie... Oh go on - have some Immortally Insane too.

Napalm Death - Incinerator (originally by Slaughter). Another simple yet effective one...

Nuno and this record was the reason I started playing guitar! Pornograffitti has killer riffs every second!

There's also many greats off III sides including, Warheads, RIP, Cupids Dead and Am I ever gonna change!

Also Mourning Widows (Nunos post extreme band) has loads of great riffs such as All Automatic, Paint the Town Red, Furnished Souls for Rent, No Regrets and many more - check them out.

AC/DC - Whole lotta rosie (hell anything by angus is amazing)

Theres loads i have missed out just these three always stand out for me.
