The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

All those movies has really helped The Rock's acting abilities.
Haha :p

Watched bits of the 1000th episode as I wanted to see Lesnar, crowed did seem quiet! Tripple H got the better of him though =/ Paul always makes me laugh and Stephanie ^^

Always liked Lita as well :D

Hahah, Rock knows how to sell a move, Stone Cold said in his DVD that, that sob always sold the best stunner lol

Oh yea, Stephanie looks much better now

Watched the 1000th Raw for old times sake, as a major indys fan I was entertained by that show, good to see American Dragon rocking the chin fuzz again.

Yea especially as Lita was there

The Rock Royal Rumble storyline could be good because he will win the title i take it, or if he doesn't, then he will win it at Wrestlemania.

Everyone complains about Rock coming back and leaving all the time, but really he should be appreciated for even coming back at all, let alone wrestling a proper match. The guys a proper actor now in his own right and he does the WWE because he clearly loves it

The Rock will blatantly win the title at the Rumble and then drop it at Mania, that way he gets his one more run with the belt without having to stay longer than just a few months. He'll probably drop the belt to Cena as well leading to one more match between the two (the decider) either later next year or in 2014

Could be good for Punk though as I reckon he'll now hold the belt till the Rumble (where he faces The Rock) and then who knows maybe they can then do the much speculated match v Stone Cold a couple of months later at Mania.....

I dont think we will see Stone Cold in the ring again, i dont think he would risk it with his back, unless hes short of cash anyway

Pretty sure that he's said there is one guy he would like to do a match with.

As for the actual show, despite being pretty much devoid of any wrestling at all, I was thoroughly entertained by most of it. Especially the staggering display of continuity they had.

I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed so hard, so congrats to the WWE for that. Of all the angles to bring back out of the blue, it was perfect.

Not perfect was Brock yet again looking like an idiot getting beaten up by HHH. Come on, leading up to a PPV it should be the heel beating down the face, when then may score the victory at the PPV. Having the face dominant the whole way through removes the tension, since they've already proven a number of times they can win. Its backwards.
Looking forward to the Punk heel turn as well. They needed it, really. Face vs face never works too well, and punk vs cena, the crowd always cheers punk, they have to keep Cena as the #1 face. Plus, with Jericho turning the RAW roster is a little lacking in heels. Lets compare:

Face:
Cena
Rock
Kane
Mysterio
HHH

Heel:
CM Punk
Big Show
Jericho (Turning)
Ziggler

That's just looking at the main title contenders, and Ziggler can barely be on the list. He should be in the title picture, but isn't. So RAW is seriously lacking in good heels without him.

Heath Slater also did an amazing job of selling the clothesline from hell.

Interestingly, Punk would end up with a longer reign than The Rock if he held it right through to the Royal Rumble. Which is an angle they could use for having The Rock win it from him at Royal Rumble. Then Cena/Rock for the strap at Mania 29. Which is ridiculous "Once in a lifetime" eh?

Glad to see CM Punk going heel. Was getting really bored of him hugging that title for months on end. Absolutely loved it when he GTS'd that motormouth. I wouldn't be surprised if CM Punk was mad at him because he comes back after he was supposed to be retired and main events Wrestlemania. Then he buggers off after saying he will be on WWE week in week out challenging for the title to make his movie, and then comes back and steals everyone's limelight!

Now as long as The Rock doesn't win the title, then I'm happy for CM Punk to keep it.

Really hate that I have got back into this. Watching SD as I speak/type. Summer slam should be fun, HHH has got to beat Brock, Brock is such a moron. Santino is one of the best actors per se ever, has some great segments looking back.

As thought the 3 hour show seems to be made up more for ads, as the show is only about 2hrs 15mins long, and all the extra time seems to be montages of what happened the week before for the story side of things.

No way. Companies going backwards if HHH beats Brock. HHH is now a part time wrestler and a corporate man. Brock is a legitimate beast. No-one can argue with his real fighting skills.

Brock should destroy HHH. I think HHH knows this and will put Brock over. Company first remember. Although I can see a continuation of it after Summerslam. Particularly with the Shawn Michaels incident. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up having a pop at Steph as well to really turn the heat up on himself.
