The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Dunno what the wwe are trying to pull at the moment, Del Rio and The Miz as faces? Really? Also doesn't seem like Orton has done anything worthwhile since he lost the title to Mark Henry back in 2010 :/

So, uh. Low Ki wrestled an entire match for New Japan dressed as Agent 47.

What a rubbish Raw last night, was expecting Austin, Taker, Triple H and yet only Foley and Flair (who seem to be on it every other week anyway)

Rock provided some lolz though

The fact they only promo'd it about 2 weeks before I think showed no-one really of note was coming back; compare this to Raw 1000 where they whored it out for about 2 months before it aired.

Sweet- who needs Sin Cara

I'll have to tune into NXT some more! What's he like on the mic?

Is he usually a heel or face? I'm guessing the latter

He's only just started so not seen much of him yet. However, I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to make someone like that a heel. I mean, who's going to boo the guy doing amazing flippy stuff like that?

RVD was a heel when he started in ECW, then he had to stone cold face turn, fans hated him so much they loved him. A bit like what happened to Sami Callihan last year.

So predictions for this Rumble? I'll go with....

CM Punk beats The Rock (or at least holds onto the title)
Del Rio beats The Big Show
Kane & Bryan hold onto their titles
Cesaro beats The Miz
Ryback wins the Rumble

Probably wrong as that means no title changes :/

Can't argue with any of those picks.

Can't see a Brainbustaaaahhhhhhhh happening, but I just found out that El Generico signed with the WWE last week o.o

I don't know if I'm happy with the news or not. On the one hand, he's worked so hard that he deserves the pay and benefits that he will get working with the WWE. But there aren't that many guys light enough on the roster that he could easily do most of his moves on, he'll probably have to bulk up which will mean he'll slow down.

Worst thing though? No more this:
Also, will they even keep him as el generico? Most indie guys like Bryan and Claudio/Cesaro didn't lose anything really when they went to WWE, but Generico has his whole gimmick and character which will probably be lost since the WWE like to keep a tight grip over characters names and gimmicks.
