The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Think you have got it in one there Tom. If Taker is fit then he fights Punk. Though I heard that this is prob Takers last wrestlemania and he wants to end the streak, whereas punk doesn't want to beat him. But who knows whats true with wrestling rumours

I'd like to see Lesnar end the streak as I have a lot of fond memories of them two back in 2003. However I can't see this ever happening due to Taker probably not being able to handle Lesnar's physical style and the fact that Taker probably wouldn't want someone he doesn't really like outside the ring ending his streak :p.

I find it hard to believe Taker wants to end his streak.

Surely he thinks of it as his everlasting legacy in wrestling. The only man to retire undefeated at Wrestling's biggest show.

Taker is old school though. Historically speaking the star on their way out will put over the next generation. What better way to put someone over than ending the streak?

Personally I'd rather he go out unbeaten

Can anyone remember actually seeing the WWE title spin recently? Seems like they only brought back the spinning version for last night :p

Is it worth coming back to the WWE weeklys gents and oppo-gents?

A lot of the indys guys that I watched come up and in the main picture now and Jericho is back, loved him since his Lionheart days in ECW.

Also JBL on commentary and Booker T has a GM role?

Right now is the worst time to 'come back' to the wwe as we're on the cusp of another long Cena reign with the wwe title

This time last year when CM Punk was the face of the company was the time to get back into the wwe product :(

Just saw the new WWE championship belt...urgh, get rid if the diamonds already. This and the spinner are belts I could Louis Spence wearing, not a jacked up 'fighter'.

Im finding it hard getting past how The Shield won at EC against the 3 biggest hitters in the WWE line up, I mean I get theirs meant to be upsets etc, but in a straight fight....it's a sad time when you watch a match in the WWE and you think" thats just down right stupid".

Not seen the EC yet, however I have to disagree with you. The Shield are still a new faction, this was only their second actual match. They need to be kept strong to ensure they stay as a credible faction. See Aces & Eights for how not to do it.
That said, who ate the pin? No way it would have been Cena, he needs to look strong to face the Rock, Ryback is also too new to be able to take a loss like this without it hitting his momentum, and Sheamus has nothing to loose, so I hope it was him.

It s Ryback who got pinned. Had Rollins up for shell shock, reigns speared him Rollins fell into the pin. Pretty sure that's how it went from memory

Hmm, that doesn't sound too bad at least. And as for Swagger... Jeez, how stupid can you get. Build up momentum, win the EC, and now this. Odds of him performing at wrestlemania just significantly dropped.

Apparently due to a possession charge he could face immediate termination. Really annoying as I was really liking this change for him since he was always good in ring just needed a mouth piece. At least Ziggler has the briefcase so they can always work him into a title shot if need be.

Ohh no I totally get that they have to win to remain a persieved real threat, thats fine, jut the way it happened, if they had gone ballistic with a chair or some other thing, etc then fine, just the "fight" seemed to easy for them to beat the 3 biggest names right now. In fact a lot of the actual fights are getting worse each PPV for me, last real good one was TLC before chrimbo and even that was a struggle. Cant see WM getting any good matches.

Silly Swagger..... DUI and pot in the car. Not the smartest move in a big push

Weed the people! :p

Decided from now on I'll be skipping all Cena segments. I just can't watch that idoit any longer. His new opening promo/recap/narrator thing is driving me nuts, comes out smiling after a clean loss acting like the ppv never happened, and then on top of that he actually said "For once it's not about you, CM Punk". Really? Of all the people to say that, they get Cena to do it? LOL. Hypocrisy at its finest.

So Taker returned to the wwe over the weekend at a house show, expect to see him on Raw tonight? Possibly after Punk has lost to Cena?

(Still hope for Taker v Lesnar personally)
