The Boots Lunch time meal deal challenge

At boots, you can get Any sandwich / Salad, + any drink + any side for £2.99.

Yesterday I came out with

Deli mix triple sandwich - £2.20
Innocent Smoothie - £1.89
Carrot & dip - £1.00

Would be Total - £5.09

Saving of £2.10

I had a meal deal from there the other day, can't rember the price but I had a bowl of honey & mustard chichen w/pasta, a bottle of OJ and some snack a jacks.. must have come to at least £3.50 - bargain!

The most expensive snack you can get is the Haribo. I think thats about 1.35.

I think I've managed more than £2.99 saving before - if you go to a big Boots and look at the posh wraps, get the cake or Haribo, and the most expensive drink...

Gutted, went into Boots today and only managed a £4.64 total.. I was swayed by the honey & mustard chicken pasta bowl which wasn't enough to push the total Did buy an Innocent smoothie which doesn't look too nice, will save it for my son

Managed £2.34 savings yesterday, was some salmon with philidelphia fillings which wasn't that nice actually.

All of the different types of nuts are included in the deal, except, specifically... pistachios.

They're all on the same rack too.

I normally save about £1.80 although a meal deal costs £3.30 in London, I get a posh wrap for £2.70, Innocent for £1.80 and choccy bar for 80p
