The boy who stole half-life 2

This seems a bit of a pointless article. As far as I can see, it's to do nothing more than gain popularity for that lad.

Relating to the internet comment, back in 2003 my local college had a network that makes standard connections, even today look like the slowest dial up that was ever available. I believe it was called the JANET network, although I may be wrong, it was a while ago.

wonder if George Hotz will wake up to gun barrels in his bed someday for all the trouble he has potentially caused Sony! or is it just shoot on sight?

Sony are bunch of.....

nothing wrong modifying your own devices.

we do it all the time with overclocking making it perform as it shouldn't.

he just makes it perform things it shouldn't eg jailbreaking

Should AMD chase after the person who found out a way to hack a 6950 to a 6970 or unlocking cores on CPU's and many other examples.

yes jailbreaking can run illegal content but its also can be used to run other things homebrew other media cababilties even folding with sony originally with "Other OS" than sony removed as a knee jerk reaction.
