What makes the Meguiar soooooo much more expensive?

The fact that it's got 'Meguiars' written on it.

Just get a Silverline rotary polisher, it's about £50 and it works well enough for the infrequency of which anyone who isn't running a detailing business is likely to use it.

All this scaremongering about rotary polishers grinding your car into dust is totally exaggerated.
 
I've run out of snowfoam, can I use ordinary shampoo in my snowfoam lance for the first rinse?

You can do, theres no harm in it, it just wont foam up and cling as well.

Actually, I might bin the "AG Clean Wheels". When I had my wheels refurbished, the chap asked me what i used and he said do not use anything that is acidic on it as it will take off the laquer.

/look at the bottle, contains acid.

Hence I bought the Custom Wheel Cleaner today, that is a acid free formula but cost more though..
