why do you say that ? theyre nearly the same product.

prima amigo is my favourite glaze but i wont be buying anymore till ive ran out of SRP

I was under the impression that Tripple had more fillers which would give a better finish with hand application.

I am going to pick up some of that soon as CYC have just got some more stock in. The depth it adds on black paint (in my case) is lovely.

I picked up a Nilfisk C120.2 a few months ago from Maplins with a load of extras (patio cleaner, foaming lance etc) for £60 odd

Thanks i just checked Amazon they seem to be @ £108 but still less powerful than my Karcher. I also have a Auto-brite SnowFoam lance which i would have to sell if i went over to nilfisk. :(

Okay, cleaned my car the other day using the pressure washer and some Autogylm Shampoo. However it's still got bug remains and some tar all over if from long motorway drives. I tried to scrub it off with the sponge but it was having none of it.

What is good to remove heavy dirt and in what order should stuff be used? Also, is there anyway to remove the diesel stain from around the tank? The mother appears to have managed to get it all down the back of the car.

******* HATE BIRDS

Etched in several places on my bonnet, can't have been on there for more than a couple of hours

Something like Tar-X or Tardis after giving the car a rinse. Leave to dwell then clean the car as it sometimes needs some agitation. Would also really need a decent wax / sealant to make it easier to remove in future.

In extreme circumstances a clay bar will remove the stubborn marks.

So pressure wash/rinse the car off, apply the Tar-X, leave for a few minutes then wash with the shampoo as normal?

Yes or preferably try just rinsing the Tar-X off first if you have a pressure washer.

Sometimes a clean damp microfibre will help agitate and loosen more stubborn marks when used with Tar-X

Get rid of the sponge and get a mitt (microfiber or lambs wool). As mentioned above Tar-X should eat through it. Might just take some persistence!

Looking forward to using some if the sonax stuff, pns and bsd

Want it get my prep sorted first.

I've had car pro cquartz uk on for the last year a its finally worn off

I've got bh clay, tardis, what's the iron fallout product of choice these days ?

You want to see what dropping from a Red Kite look like

Think, a bowl full of porridge & diarrhea. Genuinely thought someone had been sick on my car until I looked up.

What's a safe cutting polish for a beginner? (Puegeot 206, medium hardness?)

Just ordered a dual action polisher for the 4 day weekend, it comes free with a finishing polish.

CarPro Trix is highly rated and is supposed to do Tar and Iron removal at the same time - no need for seperate products.

It doesn't do it as well as separate products though. So its performance vs price.

Never heard of any issues with Nikfisk washers and autobrite snow from lances.

I use both!
