What is your method of getting through this? I felt it coming on yesterday night and woke up today i was full of cold. I still dragged myself to work in the rain and managed 8hrs shft, which i now regret !

I took lemsip tablets all day yesterday but they dont seem to do sweet FA. I got told to try this bechams all in one.

Whats your way of getting through the common cold?

Drink a lot of orange juice and take vitamin C pills
 
currently sitting suffering through the same, plenty of grapfruit/orange juice, plenty of water, hot tea and sleep. tis the only way to go.
 
Funnily enough i just drank tea and made me feel so much better ! My throat really cains lol

I get them a lot latley i got two in a few weeks before now that sucked
 
Dont be too clean! live like a bloke and you will strenghten your immune system further so the cold **wont** have a chance. :)

Nothing. It's mild tbh. Just carry on as normal and eat and drink plenty to keep your energy levels up as you can get a bit fed up from sniffling.
 
I gave up on normal put-in-hot-water lemsip a few years a go and just put up with having a cold, last December I got a stinker of a cold and a friend gave me some Lemsip Direct stuff that you put on your tongue - it made me feel loads better, I am suffering from a pretty naff cold at the moment (caught it just before the UK Masters this weekend :/) and its the only thing keeping me going!

I probably wont go to work tomorrow i feel really crappy, gonna drink loads of orange juice and rest in bed, ill see if i can get someone to go out and get this lemsip direct thing :)

Actually...considering the fuss that was being made a few months ago, shouldn't we all be dead by now?

I've not seen a thing about it on t'news in months.

Check the news man, according to latest report, it appears to have mutated into what have been predicted all along - the form than can readily transfer on to human in one country.
