a) You've put on weight? I didn't notice at all.

b) I love your curves, you look great whatever you weigh

c) Other (include past experiences)

d) Nothing, just brace yourself for the volcano that's about to erupt in your face.

Any help?

Depends. If you can say 'you wouldn't have to ask if you didn't already know the answer' without dying, then be honest.

If you can't, don't.

"have you? you still look hot...and you're still really skinny. I think you're lying tbh...now stfu and give me a hug."

Never use any of these:

Her Response
a) You didn't notice? Have you been looking at other women instead of me?!

b) Whatever I weigh?! SO I AM FAT?!

c) <whatever you say here she's going to find fault, past experiences will make her think you've learnt nothing>

d) <saying nothing might be the best idea, but you're still ******>

B is the answer i usually give when my gf asks me...and if she doesnt accept that as an answer...i just tell her..yes your fat so do something about it:p. So she now doesnt bother asking me if she looks fat unless i mention that she looks like fat:p.

Why not just

"{measured pause} ...no"

?

No!!! This doesn’t work either, because the pause means you’re having to think about it and clearly you should always be playing attention to her looks so this gives away that you’re not always fully appreciative of her efforts and constantly looking at how wonderful she is.
