The Corsair TX750w. What can it manage?

Hello any and all,

I have this old PSU and it's been kind to me over the years. Currently running a 4790k with gtx970 and I'm looking to put a new GPU in there. Any idea what it can handle? It was pretty reasonable in its day and I think PSUs generally have a better shelf life than other components, but can it handle these new 3000/6000 GPUs?

Anyone running one or any input would be appreciated.

Check the stats out on the Corsair website, specifically the Amps on the 12V ail. I’d imagine it will run most modern cards short of a 3090.

What are you concerned about?

Power budget wise you shouldn't have an issue with any GPU, the only question is whether you have enough PCIE connectors on it.

Im running a 3080 with an old TX750. Works fine.
