Just out of interest here is a video comparison between the 360 and ps3 versions. Looks like the ps3 version is slightly better.

I'm a huge elder scrolls fan but not it's engine. I'll be damn shocked if a stutter remover mod doesn't get released

Just went in to town and while i was there i asked in Gamestation if they had any manuals but they are being held back until tomorrow as well, i already knew that but thought that as people had received theirs with pre-orders they might start selling them today.
Well i guess its better to have a faulty engine, instead of the usual non-creativeness in games nowadays (CoD being the prime example).
Not sure if you had mud in your eyes, but the PS3 version looks significantly better to me, not slightly. Here's hoping that the PC version will be better still.

Well to be honest they both look perfectly acceptable to me, but I put core gameplay before textures etc.
Never ask harmony to elaborate, he will just moan about VRAM or droll on about something pointless.

DX9 can do some things better than further on versions, you do realise that?
I mean i would prefer DX11, no doubt about it, but still.
To be honest any fears of gameplay instability or glaring oversights can be assuaged by the immense mod community for bethesda games, as indicated by the Fallout 3/NV games and the previous Oblivion game.
I trust them to craft this into something really special out of this, although i really do hope the vanilla game isn't poorly done.
