I'm trying this today/ right now! Have to say, it's really nice.

I had to run 'Ordenador texture optimiser' though as my 780Ti's were being pushed to their 3GB memory limit with this. Since running that and a few other tweaks I seem to have as good if not better performance than what I was using before.

Going to add it to the top :)

Have edited to point out that it's very taxing..

If it's anything like JKL's city overhaul's it's almost not worth using, and as you said it's the tree's

Same here, I saw all the texture bits and just went meh, and went back to what I had!

I mean if you see my screenies, it looks fine as is and runs great! Still though, the option is there if people want to use it

I still hate MO :p

Thankfully NMM has gone far beyond what it used to be and the alpha will have seperate profiles so you can go back to any previous states before modding.

T.A.Z Visual Overhaul

This is a complete visual overhaul of Skyrim (WIP).
It comes with completely reworked weathers, newly added weathers, adapted climate templates and a ENB configuration to compliment these changes. To achieve this I've completely reworked the existing weathers to get natural skyboxes, proper ambient colors (which is essential for ENBs skylighting to work properly), added completely new weather types and much, much more.

The ENB preset uses almost all effects at disposal so that you get to enjoy real dynamic 3d sunrays shining through the clouds, dynamic cloud shadows, volumetric mist(almost 1000 handplaced mistanchors), "volumetric" clouds, SSAO/SSIL, soft shadows .etc all tweaked to produce a pleasant and balanced picture during all situations.

Any brave testers? :D

Meh! My 970 GTX is going back tomorrow due to the Vram/ROP scandal, however it's being replaced with a KFA2 GeForce GTX 980 SOC Gamer 4096MB. I'm both excited and annoyed at the same time, will also be good to see how Skyrim runs now.. Not that it was a problem before except at one point when the vram went beyond 3.5GB

I did the same thing myself.

I felt I had been sold a card that didn't perform as I had expected. I gratefully took advantage of some superb customer service from OCUK, and put my full refund toward a card that does meet my expectations. I have gained more than a handful of frames, and it certainly didn't cost a "boat load of money".... unless you consider £150 a boat load!

What in particular do you find confusing about any of that?

Could not have said it any better my self :)
