It messed with a lot of the mods I had already installed, and at the time wasn't compatible with many to uninstall and test. One by one I tried, and ended up first with purple fog, then purple lanterns :p

No, it will only replace many of the textures listed in the files, such as skeletons and armour :D

You'll still need all those other mods to make the game look incrediballs!

Nope

Core clocks matter more in this game, not extra cores :)

I went from an i5 to an i7 and had to clock my cpu to the same speed of 4.6/7

Oh and Skyrim LOVES GPU grunt :D

STEP sucks, causes more problems than its worth... :(
 
Decided to come back into the game after a year :D For some reason after installing Skyrim Flaura Overhaul - TREES ONLY, some of my tree barks are missing textures :(

Also can anyone recommend a good ENB that doesn't harm performance? Tried one and it dropped to 30fps!

I've also returned to Skyrim after a good few years, and after screwing up my install and really HATING Vortex, I've done a reinstall and decided to use the new Mod Organiser instead... Seriously ditch Vortex
