The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I'm looking to install the 'FXAA' and 'Antialias and Sharpen Effect' mods and from what I understand, they both need installing directly into '..\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim'.

However, both mods contain a 'shader.fx' and a 'd3d9.dll' file, so one would be overwritten by the other.

As a novice, I'm stuck. Could someone kindly explain :)

FXAA Post Process Injector needs to be installed FIRST as this is the main file that all other sharpen and saturation mods use. However when you install other mods that mess with the sharpen and saturation they may well need to overwrite those two files. If you don't like them i'd recommend making a backup just incase and go back.

Go to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim
Open SkyrimPrefs.ini, and search for [General] section
Add fdefaultfov=XX at the end of the section. (where XX is the FOV value you want to change to). For example add fdefaultfov=90
Open Skyrim.ini, and search for [Display] section
Add fDefaultWorldFOV=XX (where XX is the FOV value you put in fdefaultfov)
Add fDefault1stPersonFOV=xx.0000 (where XX is the FOV value you put in fdefaultfov)
