The Emirates FA Cup 5th Round ** Spoilers ** [26th - 28th February 2024]

Decent enough game so far at the City Ground. Reasonably even and probably as expected with United having a bit more of the ball but Forest looking dangerous on the break against our glacial defence. Three good chance for United and none taken - heard that before this season??

Only the dragged out deal and injuries have saved him. I expected him to be tactically more astute than he has shown. He's proven very stubborn in how the team functions and seemingly unable to adapt to the weaknesses in the squad. At this stage he's only got the EFL Cup over what Ole achieved. I expected more regardless of the "luck" with player fitness and availability.
 
Chelsea looked bloody awful in that first half. So leggy which is understandable.

Used to like Shearer as a commentator but that comment about Rashford just then is an example of what I hate about modern commentary. Dull observations poorly spoken.
It's not even that I disagree with it, but blunt punditry like that has no place in the commentary box whilst the games going on. Lee Dixons the same. People say Neville is the worst but he's just overly passionate.

Rashford has just been hilariously bad this season, it’s crazy how far away from last season he is.

The truth is though, this is his level, and last season was just a blip

To my eyes its been almost as good as we get. That's not very good but we've been far worse. Remember we were 2-0 down to Forest at OT and lost to them 6 weeks ago. Our performance has exceeded by expectations. Admittedly I have very low expectations about this team.
