The England Cricket Thread

Well that's certainly the end of the ashes for us.

Frankly after that performance we certainly don't deserve it.

Hang your heads in shame lads (minus Archer)

Wow and this isn't setting a record?

No, but Denly's score of 12 is the lowest highest score in a Test innings for England. Impressive.

Why does Boycott use every chance he gets when commentating to highlight how superior he was to every batsman in existence? It's basically a few hours of hearing me, me, me, me, me. He's an absolutely insufferable human being.

True. But then, I'd kill for him to be opening our batting now.

Well for England there's one positive from today- that there has to be some change. Whether that's being players being dropped, coaches being sacked, changing the batting order, sacking the psychologist, taping a "Play Test Cricket" sticker inside their helmet grilles, tying Roy's bat to his front leg with 3 inches of string, getting drunk, switching to ice hockey, prescribing performance enhancing drugs...... something.... ANYTHING has to happen!

There were dismissals today that I think even I could have avoided. Blindfolded. Facing the wrong way. Tied up. With no bat.

If they just saunter onto the pitch with the same lineup and the same crushing inability to play test cricket in Manchester, then they deserve the world's longest slow-clap facepalm greeting possible :D
