My daughter (first time voter) received a leaflet from the 'leave' campaign titled up 'official referendum information' and full of 'Euro Facts'. All in the same font as the voting card. A bit like a phishing email and rather sneaky I thought.

I'd like to see what lurks on the inside, but the Front Page looks like honest fact.

She opens by saying there were scare tactics about how loads of industries would be ruined. That's not happening, here... here we've basically heard that we'll be less well off if we leave than if we remain. There aren't scare stories about economic disaster, just that we won't do as well as we could.

Have you had your eyes and ears shut for the last few months? We've been bombarded with horror stories about the economy and businesses failing, people losing jobs etc.

I've given up trying to decide on whether we'll be in our out, based on what either campaign is saying - because so much mud slinging is going on it's impossible to make the correct determination.

My own personal circumstances lead me to believe, that if we left - it could quite drastically affect myself and my career, I work for a large hardware/services re-seller and our biggest market is EMEA, right now I'm doing design work for some of Europe's largest networks (CERN/LHC) we're a British company who get involved in lots of big EU stuff. It seems that today - getting that business is very easy, we just go and get it - we're not exporting equipment, we're exporting services and manpower, in that respect the company I work for is a very big player.

I can't see how leaving the EU would improve anything for me, whichever way I look at it, I cannot see any way in which life would be any better for me personally if we left, if there is evidence that it would be better - I'm yet to see or hear it.

CERN doesn't have anything to do with the EU - indeed it's even HQ'd in Switzerland, which of course is not in the EU, and also counts Israel as a member state.

I can't wait to see all the 1000s of extra police and new hospitala springing up every week.

I was thinking the other day, the line that immigrants contribute more than they take out is used a lot, but by this logic there should be a boatload of extra money to go around for public services, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Why are schools, GPs, hospitals, policing etc. struggling if we are getting ~300,000 money making migrants a year?

HARD MODE: Don't mention the Tories.

Because Tories gonna Tory; immigrants aren't to blame for the bad decision making of George Osborne.

We'd be even worse off if the levels of immigration weren't masking the overwise poor UK growth. About half of all economic growth since 2010 can be attributed to immigration.

Because regardless of them making money or costing money, in the grand scheme of things the amount of money involved is tiny. The problem stems from the fact we spend more than we have as an entire budget. If those migrants don't cost money, then all that means is they're not contributing to that problem, it's rooted in general government policy.

If anything, as suggested above, they mask our more general economic problems

I'm not going to waste my time.

Each time you post, it's like a cow reversing it's rear-end into your keyboard, then doing a massive **** all over it.

Every post, the same.

Sad to read that. I'd hoped the tone of this debate would improve as we near the vote.

Here's the wiki article about CERN: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CERN I couldn't find anything to do with the EU apart from the European Commission having Observer status (along with Russia, Japan, USA and India).

Don't worry, you can't expect much from some people but facts are facts regardless so they can debate them away or look like idiots.

Funny how every positive is from the EU and every negative to our economy is the UK's fault though  it's like magic, 20/20 vision on how we have babies running the government.
