Turkey can't be ignored, Germany have been gagging for them to join for ages, they will find a way. Greece shouldn't really have joined, but they found a way to fudge it.

Greece had to do some creative accountancy to join. Turkey need to resolve issues around human rights, freedom of the press, free speech, northern Cyprus, Kurdish independence, etc., etc., etc., that can't be solved by hiring Goldman Sachs.

This is a non issue of a debate, why don't the brexit camp address some of the more genuine issues, like the Economic Outlook post brexit.

Says the guy who dismissed concerns about Turkey joining as a "non-issue of a debate".

Well the Japanese prime minister saying the UK would be less of a country to invest in post Brexit is based on reality. Turkey joining the EU is based on scaremongering from a camp at odds with a huge swathe of high level commentators.
