Ahhh yes the same Facebook which vets what people should be reading about... Another media zombie thinking and doing what the press tell gullible fools to do. Excellent!

I'm talking about the type of people (as an observation rather than a negative thing ) compared to what they post or share.

I agree, but there is a huge problem with that argument.

Just becasue you could do something, it doesn't mean it would happen.

Free movement is good for the economy, more people, higher GDP.

Suicidal for any government post exit though.

Just because you could do soemthing doesn't mean you're going to go the way of the lib dems to do it

No thought to the Brits who live and work in other EU countries and what leaving the EU would do to them?

Just one example:
http://www.thelocal.es/20160602/brits-could-lose-right-to-live-in-spain-warns-rajoy-brexit

It's a load of nonsense. Most Brits living in Spain are retired, bring their pensions, buy property that the Spanish don't want or is purpose built for foreign sun seekers. Kicking out British ex-pats would significantly harm the Spanish economy - he's bluffing.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36457120

Pro-Remain MPs are considering using their Commons majority to keep Britain inside the EU single market if there is a vote for Brexit, the BBC has learnt.

The MPs fear a post-Brexit government might negotiate a limited free trade deal with the EU, which they say would damage the UK's economy.

There is a pro-Remain majority in the House of Commons of 454 MPs to 147.
A Vote Leave campaign spokesman said MPs will not be able to "defy the will of the electorate" on key issues.

The single market guarantees the free movement of goods, people, services and capital.

The BBC has learned pro-Remain MPs would use their voting power in the House of Commons to protect what they see as the economic benefits of a single market, which gives the UK access to 500 million consumers.

Staying inside the single market would mean Britain would have to keep its borders open to EU workers and continue paying into EU coffers.

This should ruffle some feathers!

That would be spectacular, the conservatives would likely destroy themselves in the general election if they agreed to that, giving their voters to UKIP.

This will never end until we are out of the EU.

What they post or share? Probably from their newsfeeds (again told what they can view).

I haven't seen an argument of remain yet though that cannot be rebuffed. Sticking with the EU is going to be... Disastrous

It would be a popular move with some locals though. All they see is a bunch of foreigners who don't learn the language, don't integrate, don't spend money outside of their own community and expect everyone else to follow their customs.

Isn't that what some Brexiteers propose, anyway? It's not as though Brexit support = necessarily being against the single market.

Part of the problem with this referendum is that the leave people aren't actually proposing what to do... some are saying we'd join the EEA, some are saying we wouldn't, some say we could be like Norway (EEA member), some say we could be like Switzerland (non-EEA, but still have free movement of people), etc.

Seems little point in having a in/out referendum then if we aren't going to leave.

Ah well, if you think that's a good enough reason for stripping other people's citizens from their right to live in the country they reside in, then you'll be happy that we can do the same.

The real question is; are you happy to be bullied by the Spanish PM like that?

We are already part of the EEA.
No we are not, technically EU members are in both but being EEA only is a lot different. That has a lot of laws that we would benefit from that we can't whilst in the EU. EEA countries can restrict EU immigration, pay less into the EU, are still able to freely move across Europe, can set up their own free trade agreements and have a free trade agreement with the EU.
