ITV news with a 'panel' of 5 people that were supposedly on the fence before the debate, the consensus is that Cameron answered the questions better.

He basically gave the same answer for every question and couldn't give an answer regarding immigration :/

Seems they were taken from a special school

Well, on technicalities of PR, Cameron's repetition (people will remember what you've said even if they might disagree; Farage got dragged on tangents too much, though not as lurid as his personal best -- obviously VL people will have had a chat with him, anyhow) did pay dividends, but it wasn't his greatest.

I however disagree with the commentary. Sigh, Dave should've posted something like this (http://ukandeu.ac.uk/fact-figures/) and gone home. He brought too much of the Commons style, wasn't very direct, and used a few easy points to repeat the basics, which wasn't really required later in, instead of engagement with the audience. At least he can be happy with the fact that he got the talking points out and didn't attack his political party live ala John Major (though what good it'll do him in the end, as in eurosceptic Tory dividends, I'm not sure).

Oh well, tomorrow's another day. The fight continues.

I imagine the Leave campaign will be pretty pleased with that from Farage. He got a bit tetchy and short when he was pushed on his racist behaviour

I believe that's called playing the man instead of the ball. Even if his sole motivation was white supremacy (which I don't believe for one second it is), that pulling out of the EU isn't a good idea. It's the Reductio ad Hitlerum fallacy.

I have no idea on how to vote :( absolutely no idea, I don't know who to believe/trust, and I don't have the time to do my own research... I might not even vote - how can I make the right choice if I don't know.

He's got a point about driving low cost jobs abroad. But the government has already had to intervene and implement the living wage to force wages up by law because of wage suppression due to immigration.

Lolwut?

Got any back up to that assertion of why we have the living wage - which is just basically the NMW (which we've had for far longer than EU immigration) but eased a little for business by making it for 25+

Wage suppression has got far more to do with the economic crash and subsequent negligible inflation than immigration

It was interesting to see a lot of non Euro immigrants asking about immigration:)

David Cameron mentioned this 'no job in 6 months and deport' rule. How do we enforce that exactly and how many people have been deported in these grounds? How do they find them ?

Ultimately regarding criminals, do border control simply check that the face looks like the pic on the passport and if they are a terrorist threat?

Would be better if they stopped everyone with criminal records entering, much in the same way that the US and AUS do when considering visa applications...

He basically gave the same answer for every question and couldn't give an answer regarding immigration :/

The simple answer to that is there is no answer for immigration within the EU.

How can he say he can control immigration when clearly we cannot. All they can keep doing is putting ridiculous forecasts out and be proved wrong year on year.

In the end it comes down to gut feeling.

In the long term what do you think is best for the UK. With uncertainty on how much power the EU will yield, how many more countries will join, how many more bail outs will be needed, how much of our contribution will the EU take away from us.

My heart says to be able to govern ourselves will be best long term for the UK.

For this self determination I would happily even pay £2000 over 10 years.
