He's attempting to diminish the importance of exports and thus the impact that leaving the single market will have.
Anyone know how much exports dropped in 2009?

That black woman (only way to describe her unless someone noted her name) was odious. Rolling her eyes before he had even said anything then just kept interrupting. How can you have debate with that level of "I will ask you a question I want answered but don't give a stuff what you answer"
From watching about 30mins of Farage he seemed pretty good, but again I was right in earlier comments that the audience would begin baiting him and his credibility because there is very little as can be argued against him really
I have a question in regards to EU budget increases being expected by the Brexit speakers the response from remain was "we have a veto on the EU budget"
Now if we take the big long shot and assume that the uk uses its veto to block a budget rise.
What happens then?
How many times could we block the rise?
Farage definitely lost points on the pharmaceuticals industry question, particularly with the alternate medicines line...

Imriel Morgan apparently - writes for HuffPo, diversity blogger - in other words, doesn't have a real job. This is her twitter account: https://twitter.com/ImiMorgan
It would be ironic if this made a difference to the final vote: Thousands of EU referendum postal votes feared lost in Germany.
anyone know?
Honestly, it's kind of irrelevant. As far as I am aware, no EU budget has ever been vetoed and it would be very stupid of any UK government to use its veto on the EU budget. For all of the waffle about vetoing this and vetoing that in the run up to the referendum, vetoes are rarely used in the EU because it's always had a much more consensual and co-operative approach. If the UK starts throwing around its veto we will rapidly become (more) unpopular with the other states and that will make it much more difficult to achieve our aims.
The way to avoid rises in the EU budget is not to veto it but to persuade other EU countries that a rise in not desirable.
Given the recent weakness of some of the EU economies, and the difficulties many of them are facing with their own fiscal balance, this shouldn't be an unachievable goal.
Can someone can tell me why a tory government out of the EU wouldn't agree to TTIP ??
So why is remain using the "your fears of the EU budget going up are void because we will veto it" line?
budget rises dont need to be divided equally though do they
uppity ethnic

Anyone?
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a deal being negotiated between the EU and USA.
If we were not in the EU, we could not be a signatory to it.
If you think you have a valid point try and make it without being such a bell.
